360 photography, 2021
The gallery below features 360 photos taken by the Wild Empathy team during research and production site visits throughout the summer of 2021. These images include old trees around Vancouver, as well as the 1308 Trees site in Burnaby. Cameras that have 360 capability have multiple viewing formats in the settings, one being the ‘Tiny Planet’ which transforms each image into a minute world. This technique provides a representation of the earth wrapped in forest soils and plants, and embraced by trees.
